Tattoo Prices — RS Tattoo Wrocław

Every tattoo is priced individually during a free consultation, based on size, style, complexity, and time required. The figures below are our base pricing brackets to help you plan.

Small tattoos — from 400 PLN

Covers up to 1 hour of work. Ideal for minimalist designs, lettering, small symbols, handpoke pieces, or your first tattoo. This price range fits simple graphics up to about 5–7 cm. Cost may increase for more detailed small designs requiring precise shading or fine details.

Standard sessions — around 1,600 PLN

Approximately 4 hours of work, suited for medium-sized projects — tattoos on the forearm, calf, upper arm, or thigh. The exact price is set individually based on detail level, style (realism takes more time than linework, for example), and the chosen artist.

Full-day sessions — 1,800–2,200 PLN

About 6 hours of focused work. This is the format for large, complex compositions: sleeves, back pieces, leg pieces, intricate Japanese or photorealistic projects. Important: pieces this large are never done in a single day — they require a series of sessions. Before starting we analyze the design and give you an estimated number of sessions needed. The final per-session price depends on the chosen artist and style specifics.

Cover-ups and touch-ups

Covering old tattoos (cover-ups) requires extra design work and often a larger new design. Pricing is individual — send us a photo of your current tattoo and our artist will assess the options and prepare a quote. Minor touch-ups of our own work during the healing period are free of charge.

What determines the price of a tattoo?

Many people ask “how much does a tattoo cost?” expecting a single number — but the price depends on several variables worth understanding before your visit:

Size and placement. The larger the tattoo, the higher the price. Areas that are harder to tattoo (ribs, feet, hands, neck) may require more time and affect the cost.

Complexity. A simple lettering piece costs differently than a photorealistic portrait of the same size. Details, shading, tonal transitions, and multiple colors increase working time.

Tattoo style. Each style requires a different level of effort. Realism and Japanese tattoos are among the most time-consuming techniques. Handpoke is naturally slower than machine work, but ideal for delicate designs. Ornamental and geometric work requires absolute precision, which also affects pricing.

Artist experience. Artists with years of experience and a recognized portfolio may charge higher rates — but investing in an experienced tattooist is a guarantee of lifelong quality.

Number of sessions. Large projects (sleeves, back pieces) require multiple sessions. Each session is billed separately, and we agree on the total cost upfront during the consultation.

What determines the price of a tattoo?

Tattoo price depends on several factors: design size, complexity (level of detail, shading, colors), style (e.g. realism takes more time than linework), placement on the body, and the experience of the chosen artist. Large projects requiring multiple sessions are priced as the sum of individual sessions.

Are tattoo touch-ups paid?

Minor touch-ups of our own work (e.g. color refresh after healing) are free during the healing period. Touch-ups after a longer time or modifications to existing tattoos are priced individually.
